Pound Bend Loop

Pound Bend Loop

In 1870, Evelyn Gold Mining Company built Pound Bend Tunnel to divert the Yarra River. The tunnel is now a popular drawcard for picnickers and bushwalkers and an impressive feat of engineering. Continuing from the tunnel, you'll walk the Yarra's banks before returning through the tranquil eucalypt woodlands.
