The Maroondah Aqueduct was built in 1892 to carry water from Maroondah Dam in Healesville to a storage dam in Preston. A shared use pathway now follows a section of the historic aqueduct. Lined with pine trees and native vegetation. Picnic and BBQ facilities can be found along the trail.

One of my favourite walks highly recommend no lights on trail paved. This is a very very special spot quite and feels very untouched great way to start the morning. Plenty of dogs, runners and walkers. See the occasional team of fitness cross fit team
