Como House and Herring Island

Visit a historic mansion, built in 1847, and soak up its gardens before catching the punt from Como Landing to an island on the Yarra, which few locals even know about. Herring Island features spectacular native vegetation and is home to an ‘Environmental Sculpture Park’, created for Melbourne Festival in 1997. Sun protection is a must.
