Merri Creek Trail South

Walk this shared-use pathway along Merri Creek from the man-made Dights Falls, where the creek meets the Yarra River, to the Northcote Gorge. Return along the opposite side of the creek. The creek is a haven for birdlife in urban Melbourne, and there are said to be resident platypuses. Keen eyes might spot Aboriginal scar trees alongside the trail.
