Located at the doorstep of metropolitan Melbourne, this park preserves valuable examples of forest and bushland in their natural state, providing a habitat for numerous native birds, animals, and reptiles. The majority of the park, which is enclosed by a fence, is covered by open woodland dominated by swamp and manna gum, black wattle, and dogwood.
