Aire River to Castle Cove

Traverse riverside paths, ascend to clifftops overlooking the Aire River’s mouth and meander through the scrub on this Great Ocean Walk section. Return via the same route or follow Sand Road to create a circuit through the coastal farmland. Hot in summer and wild in winter. Autumn and spring are the best times to visit; this walk can be very hot in summer and wild in winter.
