O’Shannassy Aqueduct

O’Shannassy Aqueduct

Hike deep into the Yarra Ranges on a section of the 34-kilometre O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail. This gently undulating trail follows a historic water channel, taking hikers through lush fern gullies and tall forests. Wide, easy-to-follow tracks. Can be muddy and slippery. The entire trail is 30km, but the walk has plenty of place where you can jump on and off. Note that dogs are permitted on the section of the trail between Dee Road and Yuonga Road only.
