A hidden gem amongst the urban sprawl of Melbourne's outer east, the Dandenong Valley Parklands hide some gorgeous remnant native vegetation. Walk the banks of Dandenong Creek and find unexpected lakes teeming with birdlife. If you're lucky, you might spot wallabies at Shepherds Bush. The route is mostly on paved shared pathways. No facilities.
