Enfield Forest

Once a hive of mining activity during the gold rush, this patch of remnant bushland has been protected for hikers to enjoy. The tall eucalypt forest hides the rare Enfield Grevillea and Yarra gum, and is teeming with Kangaroos and echidnas. Avoid going off-track as there are deep mine shafts around.
