Enjoy views of the forests and farmland from Mount Sugarloaf and South Jawbone Peak. Uneven footing, precipitous hills, lack of shelter. Some rock scrambling is required. Spring and autumn are best times - summer and winter conditions can be extreme. Do not attempt the Wells Cave track if you are not equipped and experienced. 5.5 hours.
