Walks in Heathcote-Graytown National Park

Preserving the most extensive remaining box-ironbark forest in Victoria, this park covers a substantial area of the southern section of Rushworth-Heathcote State Forest, extending from the McIvor Range and Mt Ida near Heathcote to Mt Black, Spring Creek, and Graytown. River red gums thrive alongside the flats and creeks, with their gnarled branches serving as crucial habitats for animals and hole-nesting birds.
