The Macedon Ranges is a great place to go for a walk because it's not too far from Melbourne and has beautiful views and many different walks to choose from. You can pick a short and easy walk by the creek, or a longer and more challenging hike. In the spring, you can see many pretty wildflowers, and in cooler weather, you can find lots of different types of mushrooms and fungi on Mt Macedon. The famous Hanging Rock is located here.
