We returned to Plenty Gorge to take a quick walk on Saturday afternoon. We started from parking next to the playground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost immediately we saw a kangaroo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trees around Hawkstowe picnic area still had their autumn leaves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our children recognised the area – they’ve been here before with scouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It started getting dark and we decided to go back to the car. Fortunately it was easy – we simply skipped the loop around a marsh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We walked 6 km total and it took us 1 hour and 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
