We met our friends for a walk on the Boxing day. This time we decided to organise a car shuffle. Our choice was nice walking trail near Cape Schanck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We met at the Fingal Picnic Area and brought one car to the Gunnamatta Beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a warm and sunny day. The trail was narrow and overgrown a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon we reached the first lookout with fabulous ocean views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We could see our destination from the next lookout:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventually we reached Gunnamatta Beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was high tide but we managed to pass one narrow space without getting wet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We walked on the beach for about 1.5 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only picnic table near the Surf Life Saving Club was exposed to the sun so we returned to Fingal Picnic Area and had lunch there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a great easy walk. We walked 6.1 km total. It would be great to do the longer Cape Schanck to Gunnamatta Beach<\/a> walk later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
